The major objective of pharmacy education is to render effective application of science and technology for improving the quality of life and the education should be geared to the priority areas related to developmental problem. Therefore, at graduate level where the focus is on imparting quality education of a whole range of subjects, at post graduate level emphasis is shifted from discipline orientation to problem solving orientation. The teaching methodology has been evolved to give optimal yields for both internal and external outputs.
